     My interests include structural analysis and design of High Rise Structures and Bridges but not limited to Residential and Industrial structures. I interned at Somat Engineering, Inc., Michigan during Summer 2015 [May - August] as Structural Engineering intern. Take a look at my other engineering experiences here.   Having passed the Fundementals of Engineering examination on February, 2015, I am eligible to be a certified Engineer - In - Training (E.I.T) by Texas Board of Professional Engineers (TBPE).

 

Three reasons why I would be good addition to your organization:

  • First, I am an excellent team worker. Most of my success was being a part of a team, be it academics or sports​

  • Second, I am keen to learn new concepts and technical tools to keep myself updated

    • How did I do that?

      • I was the first person to work on tnx Tower for the project in the firm during my summer internship 

      • When my under graduate thesis advisor asked me to work in ANSYS, a software that I never worked on before, I learnt it by myself and completed the project successfully along with a research paper

  • Third, I have experience in communication and organizational works

    • Example of my skills?

      • My experience in managing soil boring sites in bridge abutments for ‘I-75 Modernization’ project provided me a chance to communicate with sub-contractors and MDOT inspectors aiding me to develop my organizational and communication skills

 

My significant achievements:

  • I presented my thesis research paper at an International conference in Dubai in March 2014. Click here for more details

  • Also, I was one among 40 Civil Engineering students selected all over India for the prestigious 'IITM Summer Fellowship Programme' offered by Indian Institute of Technology, Madras, India in 2013
